Something that ties you to the door. For a home that is an ID with the address, a lease, a utility bill, or a neighbor or manager who can vouch for you; for a car, the registration or title with your ID; for a business, a lease or a manager we can reach. We ask every time, because a locksmith who opens doors for anyone is a locksmith who opens yours for anyone. If a child or a pet is locked in a hot car, call 911 first and us second: the fire department will break a window without waiting, and that is the right call.
How fast we get there
We are based in Canyon Country. Most of the Santa Clarita Valley is 15 to 25 minutes away, the San Fernando Valley 25 to 40, Lancaster and Palmdale 35 to 55, and every area page says the honest window for that city. We give you a real arrival time for your address when you text, not a round number. On the Westside we work by appointment and do not take lockout calls.

Emergency lockout questions
Will you have to drill the lock?
Rarely. Most house, car and office locks open without damage. Drilling is the last resort for a high-security or broken lock, and we tell you before we do it, together with what the replacement involves.
How do I get a price?
Text a photo of the lock and your ZIP code. We reply with the price and the arrival time before we drive over, and that is the price on the invoice. If something turns out different once we are there, you hear it and agree to it before any work starts.
Do you really come out in the middle of the night?
Yes, across the Santa Clarita Valley, the San Fernando Valley, the Antelope Valley and out to Ventura County. The only area we do not take lockout calls in is the Westside, which we serve by appointment.
What if I cannot prove I live there?
Then we find another way to confirm it: a neighbor, the property manager, a document inside that we can see once the door opens before you go in. What we will not do is open a door with no link to you at all.
